I was able to schedule an appointment online immediately after finding that my garage door spring was broken and I was unable to open the door. I received an appointment for the following afternoon. Jose called me and asked if he could come earlier than the appointed time. Jose was very friendly. He explained what was wrong with the garage door and what he would do to make the necessary repairs. I appreciated Jose explaining everything to me. The work was completed quickly and I’m very happy with the results. I would recommend Precision Garage Door.

I made an online appointment on 4/23/2024 for 8am-10am on 4/24. Lisandro, the technician contacted me at 7:50 that he would be here in 10 minutes and he was. After explaining my problem to him, he proceeded to verify the issue. He said he could possibly get parts but since the opener was 19 years old, he recommended a new opener would be the best decision to which I agreed. He had one on his truck and after quoting me a price, started to work. He changed out the opener, made sure everything was replaced that was needed, adjusted the opener, adjusted the springs, realigned the door and rails, lubricated all fittings and rollers, changed safety sensors and tested the opener. He was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and cleaned the work area completely. My door and opener have been restored to as new condition. This is the second time I have used Precision Doors and am completely satisfied.

Last year on April 5th we had Nicholas Martinez come to do some work on our garage door. He did a very good job. Nicholas told us that often the company will have their technicians do the work and give a lower price by not going directly through the company. We were happy and had him do the work. We wrote a check directly to Nicholas. On Wednesday we were backing out of the garage and hit the door with our car before it was all the way up. So we wrecked the door. We called Precision Door Company and today Jose Martinez came out. We learned from Jose that we were scammed by Nicholas and that he had done this same thing to many others. We feel like such fools. Jose told us to never write a check to an individual, only to the company. It is a hard lesson for us. We will be getting a new door. In the meantime Jose has fixed it so that it works for now and we are grateful to him for that.

The service person was knowledgeable friendly didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. When I told him I was interested in replacing my old door he went over my options and got a delivery date and installation within three days. When neither my wife's nor my garage door remotes worked the other day (but the wall button did), I figured it wasn't the batteries (I checked anyway) and called the number for Precision on the sticker in my garage. The technician came out, heard my description of the problem again, inspected a sensor and declared I needed a new panel/motherboard: $1700. When I recoiled at the price he referred me to someone else, who had worked on my door once before and, if he had the part, would charge us less. The second guy confirmed the diagnosis and would charge $1300. I then called my son-in-law who found that a "de-activate" (lock) button on the wall unit had been inadvertently pushed and, when reset, the door worked fine. It is implausible to me that both technicians were unable to detect, given the explanation I gave, what was really wrong. They are either incompetent or tried to fool me into buying a new opener. I called the owner (to avoid sharing an embarrassing review) and left a message but he never called me back. Would you choose this company?

I was having an Issue with a couple of broken wheels and the cable that attaches to the wind up springs came undone leaving the door unusable ( WIDE OPEN ) I managed to get the door closed with the help of another Garage Door Repair service and after an hour of watching this character trying to operate a ratchet and try and sell me everything on his truck I asked him to Leave. I looked up Precision Door and called at 9PM and the 24Hr service booked a appointment for the morning, a Technician Benny Urbino showed up on time made several suggestions for the repair and the door was operating flawlessly in no time flat ,Awesome technician We will be calling in the future for parts or repairs.
