Carlos arrived here within just a few hours, diagnosed the problems, (mostly due to an old,15 year old system) and installed all new mechanics, springs, etc. in less than three hours. Fantastic, courteous service--I was thoroughly impressed. I was able to book a same-day appointment because our door opener was malfunctioning and we were at our wit's end trying to diagnose the cause. Nick Martinez drove all the way out from several cities away to investigate only to find---to our embarrassment---that it was just a broom handle blocking the failsafe electric eye sensor. Doh. Nick handled the situation with grace and good humor, and even took the time to walk us through maintenance tips to extend the life of our system. He refused to let us pay for the service call, even though it was our own mistake. We will definitely be using Precision Door Service for all of needs in the future, and can't recommend them highly enough! Thanks, Nick and Precision!

I have an old garage door (one piece, not panels) and a spring had broken. I told them this when I called to make the appointment. The rep, who was on time and very friendly by the way, told me that the garage door is old and outdated and that springs are not readily available. He recommended replacing the door for $699 I believe, and when I said that is not in the budget, he immediately called and lowered the price to $649. That was a red flag for sure. I decided to check other companies, and found a local company who was here within an hours time with two springs- only one had broken, but they are old, so better to replace both. He was able to buy the springs locally and install. Total cost $169 including labor and parts. I am a realtor and constantly get requests for good service providers. I would never recommend this company.

Mr. Heyl, I am sorry that we did not meet your needs. Your door is a one piece door and requires a different spring. I apologize for my technician saying they are not available, because they are.. So, he made a mistake on that and we have already counseled him on it.. The $699 was obviously for a new door which was not absolutely necessary. However, I am happy that you were taken care of (it seems by a handyman), as our price would have higher that what you stated you paid. I apologize for your experience with us.
