Several months ago I had a problem with my garage door opener and I called Precision Door Service. Carlos showed up very promptly, but we couldn't duplicate the problem, everything seemed to be working fine. Carlos did a complete inspection, did not find any problems and did not charge me. This time around the main torsion spring broke and the door would not open. I could not even open it manually, so I called Carlos. He offered to come out that same day, but I couldn't due to prior commitments. So he came out the next day and replaced the spring, drums, rollers and cables and related hardware in under 2 hours and the door is working great! I highly endorse Precision Garage Door Service for their prompt service, product knowledge and integrity.

Within my scheduled next day appointment window, he called to note his anticipated arrival. Upon timely arriving and introducing himself, he performed a complete inspection, confirmed my broken spring diagnosis, and shared a respectable list of items needing attention based on reasonable priority. His explanations were clear and practical which provided assurance to my decision on the work to be performed today versus in the future. My garage door spring broke. Precision was out the next day to replace with higher grade springs. Frank was my technician with a helper and replaced the springs. I was extremely happy with the service I actually upgraded to the lifetime warranty which replaced all the working parts. No more worries about a broken garage door!

I give the Technician 0 stars My appointment was at 9:00 am. He rang my doorbell at 8:50 am and my husband answered the door and told Alex that my wife is not ready to wait till 9:00 am and she will be out the Tech said well she needs to reschedule and left . All I have to say is that was his lost on a sale . Alex would not wait for 10 minutes which the appointment for 9:00 am .

Fleecing the repeat customer is a BIG issue... You were very responsive and came out the same day which we were grateful for. As it turned out, two screws had fallen out of one of the metal plates that attach to the garage door at each roller joint. Carlos found the issue and said he could fix it. So, for $59.99 he came to my house and found the problem. Two screws cost less than a dollar, but I haven’t had anything serviced since your guy was here the last time and that was over 5 years ago. I agreed to the "tune up”to make sure everything kept working into the future. For 15 minutes of work and three dollars worth of lubricant, that cost me $89.95!!! WTF What is completely inappropriate is a surprise charge of $16.95 for “Environmental Fee - Miscellaneous hardware/product/enviro fee/fuel charge. All of that should have been covered in the other two line items, considering I had agreed to $140 for less than $10.00 worth of screws and lubricant and a short drive to my house. On top of that, I had cash, my checkbook, and a credit card available as payment. Carlos told my wife that the “credit card was easiest” but then I got charged another $3.34 for using the credit card. I responded to there feedback email but got ZERO response about my extreme displeasure with getting fleeced to the tune of $171.50 for a 15 minute service call. I chose to use your company again because I had a good experience in the past. That may not be the case in the future! Word of mouth referrals are very important to me as I’m sure they are to you.

Our garage door suddenly decided not to operate correctly. My husband and I researched different companies, read their reviews, and checked their California state licenses before choosing Precision Garage Door Service. We called Saturday morning about 7:30 a.m. and our call was answered promptly. After discussing the issue with Brianna, we set up a service call for the morning between 8am-12pm. Our initial contact was warm and pleasant. Jose Perea from Precision Garage Door Service, came to our residence about 9 a.m. He was very friendly and went straight to work to diagnose the problem. After checking out the unit, the track, and repairing a broken wooden board, he informed us that our unit was 20 years old and some of the parts and wires were coming loose. We had a choice to leave it and have a nonoperational garage door opener or replace it with a new one. We chose the latter. Jose went to his truck and brought out a cardboard box with a new unit. He promptly went to work installing the unit and shortly later, showed us how it worked. A very quiet and smooth unit compared to our other three units. We were impressed with how the garage door closed slowly towards the end and the brightness of the LED lights. Our total experience with Precision Garage Door Service was positive and productive. My husband and I feel we made the right choice and will not hesitate to call them again if any of our other units break.
