We had a new garage door installed on Monday, September 15th in Palm Desert by Precision Garage Door. The complete process, from start to finish went wonderfully. No hick-ups. We booked our initial appointment with "Frankie the Technician". Frankie showed up on time, ready to walk us through the process. Frankie told us the pros and cons of door replacement vs door repair. The cost difference between door replacement and door repair was minimal. Of course we ordered a door replacement. "Carlos the Installer" arrived on time, ready to work. The door removal and new installation took about 3 hours. Carlos showed us how the new door operated, including the remotes and key paid. We are very happy with the door, the cost and the warranty. We have 7 other properties in Palm Desert. Precision Garage Door will be our "goto" when we have garage door issues/replacements in the future. FIVE STARS!!!!

Instead, Jorge, the company representative, showed me how the door could be completely rebuilt at the fraction of the cost of what I thought I'd have to spend--and with a lifetime warranty to boot! Arrived early (who does that) which was great Explained clearly what was found (broken spring) and why company policy is to replace both springs. Also advised that Garage door, cables, and motor are good quality with lots of life left. Rollers in good shape but Recommended changing the rollers to newer more reliable ones (which I did not do). Very professional and knowledgeable. Worked quickly and cleaned up after complete. No complaints. Happy but not cheap.

I was happy when the truck arrived it was Benny. We were scheduled for the next day but Jose was in the neighborhood and came right over to help. He was very personable and professional. I swear he could have done the job blindfolded. He took down the old Lift Master and installed the new one including two new sensors, two new remotes, and a new wall switch all within 40 minutes. He said we'd really like the new garage door opener and he was right. I even like the sound of the new one opening. No question, while we called them because of the add in the 'value pack' mailings they are the right choice and I wouldn't call anyone else. Jose is a credit to Precision.

I feel ripped off. First the technician tried to upsell me to the tune of $700 to replace wheels on our two garage doors. When I balked, he said he could lubricate the parts on the door for $200. When I hesitantly agree, I stood there and watched him take literally 2 minutes to spray WD-40 on the same wheels he said needed replacement. I could have done it in the same time for the cost of 1/10 of a can of WD40. What a rip!

Jose Perea was the tech that repaired our garage door. He showed up at 7 AM on a Saturday morning because I had an emergency and needed to get my cars out of the garage by 8 AM.
