Yesterday afternoon, while moving stuff in our garage, I accidentally damaged the sensor which prevents closing the door if anything is in the way. I called Precision (which repaired our door a couple of years ago), and they had a technician (Steve) out here this morning (a Saturday). It took him no more than a half hour to install a new sensor and lubricate the track, so the door now works perfectly. VERY prompt and courteous service!

I had a problem with my door opener today. Thinking is was a minor thing I called your company and a service man came the same day .. He assessed the problem and found the motor was bad. He tryed everything to get it going but the last resort was to buy a new garage door opener. He did a great job replacing it . As hot as it was, he replaced the old one and did very good work. I would give him a 5 star rating. Very pleasant.

I had used Precision some years ago to repair and replace a garage door. They did excellent work back then. Recently my lift motors began to fail. They were near end-of-life. I contacted Precision. They arrived with upgraded replacements to the motors and drive mechanisms. The installation was done very well. The work guaranteed. The price was reasonable. The technician explained everything and did not mind my watching him work and learning from him.

Absolutely amazing!! Kenneth was so polite, professional, and just right down amazing!! Got three different quotes in the beginning of my service to choose from which I really liked because they weren’t, trying to up-sell me on anything. I have an old garage door (one piece, not panels) and a spring had broken. I told them this when I called to make the appointment. The rep, who was on time and very friendly by the way, told me that the garage door is old and outdated and that springs are not readily available. He recommended replacing the door for $699 I believe, and when I said that is not in the budget, he immediately called and lowered the price to $649. That was a red flag for sure. I decided to check other companies, and found a local company who was here within an hours time with two springs- only one had broken, but they are old, so better to replace both. He was able to buy the springs locally and install. Total cost $169 including labor and parts. I am a realtor and constantly get requests for good service providers. I would never recommend this company.

Mr. Heyl, I am sorry that we did not meet your needs. Your door is a one piece door and requires a different spring. I apologize for my technician saying they are not available, because they are.. So, he made a mistake on that and we have already counseled him on it.. The $699 was obviously for a new door which was not absolutely necessary. However, I am happy that you were taken care of (it seems by a handyman), as our price would have higher that what you stated you paid. I apologize for your experience with us.

Precision Door was so easy to do business with. I needed to get a second LiftMaster jack-shaft garage door opener for my home. We had an awesome experience with our service man Carlos Jaquez. He came out to assess our project to install garage door. We weren’t sure it would be possible because there wasn’t prior frame work. Carlos assured it can done. We were ecstatic. He arrived on scheduled time. Carlos went straight to work. His knowledge and experience was quickly evident.
