Derek O'lear did a wonderful job of replacing our garage door opener. He arrived earlier than originally scheduled because he was already in the immediate area, he diagnosed the problem with our existing 23-year-old opener (a broken drive sprocket), pointed out the remote possibility of being able to locate a replacement part and recommended that we replace the entire opener. We took his advice and he installed a new unit quickly and effficiently, cleaned up the work area and hauled the old unit away. He was a pleasure to have on the job.

I backed into my garage door late Friday afternoon. Really did a number on the door! After figuring out how to get the door closed, I contacted Precision Garage doors via "Contact Us" on my computer. I was contacted almost immediately. I set up an appointment for Monday morning between 8:00 and 10:00am. My tech. Benny arrived on time (much to my surprise he was a little early, Awesome!!!!!) He looked at what the situation was and gave me an estimate within minutes. He made a few minor adjustments and ordered the door panel. His professionalism was second to none. I highly recommend Precision Garage Doors and Benny.

The Man of the hour Jose Perea came to my home and after assessing the situation he showed me the problem and clearly explained my options. Jose phoned me 15 min before he arrived. He completed the job on less than an hour. I wasn't expecting to pay what I paid but my repair came with a lifetime warranty. He was on time and called us to let us know he was on his way...walked me thru the issue we had so I understood completely what was needed / reviewed the process and explained all costs up front! He went the "extra distance" in customer service as he went above and beyond to satisfy us and complete the job correctly not the easy way out.. (nobody does customer service anymore..) He did! All I can say is WOW!!! Our garage door spring broke early Saturday Morning 2/24/24. After calling around and couldn't get anyone. I reviewed the BBB ratings on several companies. Precision was not only accredited by BBB, which is a plus, but the company also had a great customer rating. I called immediately. I spoke to Mindy. She was very nice, professional and extremely helpful. Mindy took all my information. Mindy said "I can have a technician out between 8 and 10:00 AM today, which was Saturday 2/24/2004. I was not expecting her to say that. Not only did the technician show up, but he was a couple minutes early. Very professional. Jose explained why our spring kept breaking. We were supposed to have two springs as this is a two-car garage, we only had one. Jose repaired the spring and added the second spring. Jose reviewed the pricing and warranty with my husband. Our technician, Jose Perea did amazing work. Great professional! Cleaned up after the repair and was very nice. I give Jose and PGDS a 5+ rating. Thank you, Mindy and Jose!!

I feel ripped off. First the technician tried to upsell me to the tune of $700 to replace wheels on our two garage doors. When I balked, he said he could lubricate the parts on the door for $200. When I hesitantly agree, I stood there and watched him take literally 2 minutes to spray WD-40 on the same wheels he said needed replacement. I could have done it in the same time for the cost of 1/10 of a can of WD40. What a rip!

I called Precision Door to help me fix my garage door drums after many failed attempts to do so myself. After 5 minutes of the technician arriving, he quickly pointed out numerous issues with the mechanics of the door and offered three options to solve the problem. Although I wasn’t prepared for the expense, he easily explained an affordable payment plan and completely replaced/explained the work he had completed in less than an hour! Before leaving, the technician (Jorge) gave me some pointers on how to maintain and evaluate my garage door for minimal maintenance. Excellent service with day-of response, detailed explanation of the issues my door system had, and flexible payment plan. Highly recommend.

Service tech came early, called to say he was on his way, showed us exactly what was wrong, brought in his ipad so we could clearly read the two quotes, explaining exactly what he was going to do and why.
