Jose was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. In high school he played baseball and ran the Cross Country event. After high school he coached high school and little league baseball for 10 years. His favorite professional sports teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys. Jose spent 3 years in the Army and was stationed in Colorado and South Korea. He spent several years servicing a route with a major food company and co-owned a restaurant in Los Angeles for several years. Jose is bi-lingual, and presently lives in Ontario. He is a people-person and looks forward to helping you with your garage door needs.

We were scheduled for the next day but Jose was in the neighborhood and came right over to help. He was very personable and professional. I swear he could have done the job blindfolded. He took down the old Lift Master and installed the new one including two new sensors, two new remotes, and a new wall switch all within 40 minutes. He said we'd really like the new garage door opener and he was right. I even like the sound of the new one opening. No question, while we called them because of the add in the 'value pack' mailings they are the right choice and I wouldn't call anyone else. Jose is a credit to Precision.

Our garage door suddenly decided not to operate correctly. My husband and I researched different companies, read their reviews, and checked their California state licenses before choosing Precision Garage Door Service. We called Saturday morning about 7:30 a.m. and our call was answered promptly. After discussing the issue with Brianna, we set up a service call for the morning between 8am-12pm. Our initial contact was warm and pleasant. Jose Perea from Precision Garage Door Service, came to our residence about 9 a.m. He was very friendly and went straight to work to diagnose the problem. After checking out the unit, the track, and repairing a broken wooden board, he informed us that our unit was 20 years old and some of the parts and wires were coming loose. We had a choice to leave it and have a nonoperational garage door opener or replace it with a new one. We chose the latter. Jose went to his truck and brought out a cardboard box with a new unit. He promptly went to work installing the unit and shortly later, showed us how it worked. A very quiet and smooth unit compared to our other three units. We were impressed with how the garage door closed slowly towards the end and the brightness of the LED lights. Our total experience with Precision Garage Door Service was positive and productive. My husband and I feel we made the right choice and will not hesitate to call them again if any of our other units break.

I was able to schedule an appointment online immediately after finding that my garage door spring was broken and I was unable to open the door. I received an appointment for the following afternoon. Jose called me and asked if he could come earlier than the appointed time. Jose was very friendly. He explained what was wrong with the garage door and what he would do to make the necessary repairs. Last year on April 5th we had Nicholas Martinez come to do some work on our garage door. He did a very good job. Nicholas told us that often the company will have their technicians do the work and give a lower price by not going directly through the company. We were happy and had him do the work. We wrote a check directly to Nicholas. On Wednesday we were backing out of the garage and hit the door with our car before it was all the way up. So we wrecked the door. We called Precision Door Company and today Jose Martinez came out. We learned from Jose that we were scammed by Nicholas and that he had done this same thing to many others. We feel like such fools. Jose told us to never write a check to an individual, only to the company. It is a hard lesson for us. We will be getting a new door. In the meantime Jose has fixed it so that it works for now and we are grateful to him for that.

My Technician Jose has serviced my garage door in the past and did an excellent job. I was very pleased that when I ordered service again for a different issue, Jose showed up again. He provided several options and is clearly very knowledgeable is his field of expertise. He was courteous, professional and very quick. I was 100% satisfied with his service.
