Jose was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. In high school he played baseball and ran the Cross Country event. After high school he coached high school and little league baseball for 10 years. His favorite professional sports teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys. Jose spent 3 years in the Army and was stationed in Colorado and South Korea. He spent several years servicing a route with a major food company and co-owned a restaurant in Los Angeles for several years. Jose is bi-lingual, and presently lives in Ontario. He is a people-person and looks forward to helping you with your garage door needs.

After our spring broke on our garage door I called to repair. Next day service by technician who completed replacement of both springs in about a half hour. Courteous, clean and adjusted up and down motion on the garage door as well. Thank you for the prompt service

Precision was on time and assessed my Ryobi door opener, as expected it was in need of replacement. Yes, it was wonderful to see Jose P. again!!! He never cease to amaze me. I feel so safe and secure in the excellent care he provides. I was able to schedule an appointment online immediately after finding that my garage door spring was broken and I was unable to open the door. I received an appointment for the following afternoon. Jose called me and asked if he could come earlier than the appointed time. Jose was very friendly. He explained what was wrong with the garage door and what he would do to make the necessary repairs. I appreciated Jose explaining everything to me. The work was completed quickly and I’m very happy with the results. I would recommend Precision Garage Door.

Last year on April 5th we had Nicholas Martinez come to do some work on our garage door. He did a very good job. Nicholas told us that often the company will have their technicians do the work and give a lower price by not going directly through the company. We were happy and had him do the work. We wrote a check directly to Nicholas. On Wednesday we were backing out of the garage and hit the door with our car before it was all the way up. So we wrecked the door. We called Precision Door Company and today Jose Martinez came out. We learned from Jose that we were scammed by Nicholas and that he had done this same thing to many others. We feel like such fools. Jose told us to never write a check to an individual, only to the company. It is a hard lesson for us. We will be getting a new door. In the meantime Jose has fixed it so that it works for now and we are grateful to him for that.

I read previous reviews and thought Carlos was the only technician. His reviews were really good. So I decided to give Precision a chance. The Man of the hour Jose Perea came to my home and after assessing the situation he showed me the problem and clearly explained my options. Jose phoned me 15 min before he arrived. He completed the job on less than an hour. I wasn't expecting to pay what I paid but my repair came with a lifetime warranty. I recommend anyone to call Precision for you garage door repairs and specifically ask for the Master Technician Mr. Jose Perea. I wanted to take the time to thank Jose Perea for his work today on replacing our garage door spring today 2/26/24! He was on time and called us to let us know he was on his way...walked me thru the issue we had so I understood completely what was needed / reviewed the process and explained all costs up front! He went the "extra distance" in customer service as he went above and beyond to satisfy us and complete the job correctly not the easy way out.. (nobody does customer service anymore..) He did! He worked around our garage racks! and made sure all was running correctly before he left. I highly recommend Jose and the Precision door service company for your garage door service needs. All I can say is WOW!!! Our garage door spring broke early Saturday Morning 2/24/24. After calling around and couldn't get anyone. I reviewed the BBB ratings on several companies. Precision was not only accredited by BBB, which is a plus, but the company also had a great customer rating. I called immediately. I spoke to Mindy. She was very nice, professional and extremely helpful. Mindy took all my information. Mindy said "I can have a technician out between 8 and 10:00 AM today, which was Saturday 2/24/2004. I was not expecting her to say that. Not only did the technician show up, but he was a couple minutes early. Very professional. Jose explained why our spring kept breaking. We were supposed to have two springs as this is a two-car garage, we only had one. Jose repaired the spring and added the second spring. Jose reviewed the pricing and warranty with my husband. Our technician, Jose Perea did amazing work. Great professional! Cleaned up after the repair and was very nice. I give Jose and PGDS a 5+ rating. Thank you, Mindy and Jose!!

I am completely blown away by how Jose fixed my door!!!! I was worried I was going to need a new door. He fixed it up so well, it’s actually much quieter and even better than when it was new!
