Dear Don, We were grateful to have Dean repair the broken spring on our garage door in a quick and efficient manner. My concern is that I was not given any indication when I called to request a service call that the cost would be so high. I was told that the springs would be $80 to $199 each. And that the techs' trucks were stocked. Dean began by telling us of the great deal you were offering to upgrade our hardware as a bundle for $799 with a lifetime guarantee. My husband and I nearly fainted. We had no idea that replacing a broken spring would cost so much. When I told him we couldn't afford to do that he said he had two on his truck at the $149 price range. Being a senior citizen on a fixed income, I believe that customers should be given an idea what the job might cost. Dean conducted himself in a very professional manner and explained what he was doing throughout the repair.

I spoke with Mrs. Reynoso and thanked her for letting us know of her concern. I also explained to her that it is difficult to give somewhat an accurate "guestimate" of what the final costs would be until we can inspect the door system. However, due to this review we are reviewing our pricing practices over the phone to assure that we are being as above board as we can without the benefit of the inspection.

My garage door spring broke so I dug through my files and found that in 2005 it had broken and was replaced.The Technician at the time had written on the invoice lifetime warranty. I contacted the company and they sent a Tech out this afternoon, I gave them a copy of the invoice and they replaced the springs for free ($400.00 cost savings) and 9 years later all I paid was the labor of $75.00 I highly recommend Precision Door Service, they stood behind what was written on the invoice and the Tech Lance Thurlow was very professional and thorough. In the city of Eastvale we have two e-groups that residents post on and I sent positive comments to both highly recommending Percision Door Service and Lance Thurlow!!! Oh and by the way add the city of Eastvale in your drop down, we have been a city sine October of 2010. I am such a happy camper!!! Jane

Veery friendly, Kind and knowledge, thank u for your service. the only one thing I am not happy about is your produce is very bad, I install this only couple years, and i don't even use this door that much, and I already need the servos call, and it will give your company a bad review because u cary the bad product, I think you need to adjust this problem, instead just change the part, part maybe easy for u to fix but good company name is very hard to rebuild, thank u for take time to read my comment.

I was extremely impressed with Bill's commitment to service and professionalism. He arrived promptly, performed a full inspection and replaced both springs. Afterwards he realized the door was not balanced and needed a larger spring. He could have just left the regular springs on and took off, I would have never known. But he explained the door was not balanced. So he took off one of the news springs and installed a heavier spring and made sure the door worked properly. All for the same price. He even greased the opener mechanism and did not charge me. You get what you pay for. Cheap prices are all over the internet. But, integrity and character like that cannot be bought.
