The service tech pointed out what needed to be done to repair my door, & I fully expected him to fix it. He proceeded to do something else, which doesn't look like it will last. He asked if I was 100% satisfied, & I said No. He spent a couple of hours fashioning a bracket out of my punched angle & then charged me for the punched angle & labor to do it. I fully expected to pay more to have my door fixed, but it was NOT properly fixed & now I'm facing the prospect of having to hire someone else to properly fix it. I have pictures of what I'm talking about if anyone is interested in seeing them.

I contact Mr. Lyon about his situation after speaking with our technician and offered to return and install wood to attached the springs to. The punched angle solution is one that is used when there is no wood backing but we were willing to install the necessary backing. About 10 days later when we contacted him to schedule it, he stated he would have another company do the work. Don Taylor

Work was quick and efficient. Only problem that I have is that since the work was done on a rental house, I was not there to get a paid invoice. After 3 request I received the invoice for part of the work. Will need to call again to get all of my paperwork.

Once the technician arrived the work was done in a timely manner. I'm disappointed with the scheduling for repairs. This is the second time I have used this company. The first time the Tech arrived 6 hours after the scheduled time and spend over 4 hours installing a motor and didn't finish until almost 1 am. Today i was scheduled between 10 and 12. The Tech didn't arrive until about 3:30. Your company did call to say he would be late. Apparently you don't give your Tech enough time to do their work.

Thank you very much for your input sir. We value it since many times we don't know your concerns until you review us. I've investigated this last call and found that your call was on a technician's schedule that fell ill and we had to add you another technician's schedule, and it was a parrticularly busy day. We certainly do apologize to you for this. Arriving on time is certainly one of our priorities and we will continue striving to do that. Don Taylor

Technicians are friendly and know what they're doing. Fast, same day service. Only three stars because prices for parts are too high. $150 for a standard torsion spring. My door is a basic tract home roll up. Not asking to pay wholesale, but a 200% mark up is a bit much.
- David Petty
The cycle life of all of our torsion springs is triple that of the industry when used on a 7' high door. The springs that we use on all door repairs are the same as those we use when we grant a lifetime warranty. They are excellent quality and last much longer on your door without the need for frequent spring repairs. Don Taylor, President

Jerad has been the sevice tech for the last two calls. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I would hope he fields any future calls I may have. My first dealings with your company was last November. I had just moved into my new home and the door broke with the cable coming off the drum. Brent was the tech and sold me a rebuild for $529.00 which I thought came with a 5 year warranty. I found later that it was just the

I spoke with Mr. Chumbley regarding his thought explaining that I appreciate his input because we can't fix it if we don't know it. We have been back to address his concerns. One being his warranty and the other being door noise. We did install high cycle springs (which are higher quality than the standard springs) and new rollers on his door that carry a lifetime warranty. His prior door and opener were different from what he has presently. His present door is non-insulated steel vs insulated before, and his opener is a 1/3 hp screw drive vs a 1/2 hp belt drive before. This makes a huge difference in the noise levels, which Mr. Chumbley now understands, and states "his next opener will definitely be a belt drive.

Just an FYI. I received an automated response on July 25th but there was no price quote attached. I had to call back and request a second copy. Have not received that copy yet?
