I've seen the ads on TV of course, but was 100% convinced to go with your company when the home inspector said he'd used your company before and you did a good job for him. The immediate availability of an appointment was a definite selling point! I just bought a new house and the garage door just wasn't working right - the motor burned out two days after I moved in (not unexpected), so the motor was replaced, new springs put on since we had no idea how old they were, and the technician cleaned all the moving parts on the door - wheels, hinges, the whole works. He just did a complete and thorough job and now the door opens smoothly and so quietly! It's wonderful. I feel safer and more secure now, for sure.

I set up 2 appts to get estimates to fix the garage door. 1st guy that came did a quick assessment then began to give me my options. Replacing springs, rollers, tracks, adjusting cables.... costs ranged from $700 - $3100 depending on how much he replaced and the quality of the materials I selected. ie: galvanized springs vs springs from China. And if I wanted him to do the repairs that day I had to make a decision immediately because he couldn’t guarantee when he could return to do the repairs. Shocked and overwhelmed by all the options and costs, thankfully I let him leave and waited to see what the 2nd estimate would be. What a difference!!! Gilbert Garcia from Precision arrived a few minutes later. He took a look at the situation and determined that he could repair it for less than $400. He was able to remove the existing track, straightened out the slight bend and reinstall it. He said my springs were fine and are actually a better quality the two options the other guy offered. The rollers were fine and didn’t need replacing. He said the cause of the problem was 2 bolts that were too short and over several years had come loose. He replaced them with longer bolts. He tuned, lubed and calibrated. He checked the motor. He made sure everything was in proper working order. Obviously the first guy got $$$$ in his eyes when he realized here is a middle aged woman who clearly knows nothing about garage door repair and he may be able to get hundreds if not several thousand dollars out of her for what I suspect would be inferior materials and workmanship. I will definitely recommend Precision and in particular Gilbert Garcia who I found to be refreshingly honest and ethical and absolutely competent at what he does. Thank you Gilbert

Technician was awsome. Professional, knowledgeable. The garage springs were replaced just 5 years ago. But could not support the door and failed. I appreciated that he spoke with me not AT me,. He noticed the black flakes on garage floor and on surface of door and did a futer assessment. Pricing is transparent, fair and reasonable. Wish we had called them the first time. Have had 2 previous repairs. Precision is in my contact list, and will refer them to every looking for help. Thank you.
