I called yesterday, and they were able to send a technician today, Jose Perea. He did a good job, he fixed my garage door by changing the sensor, and then advised me that the springs will need to be replaced soon as well. I decided to change them right away, and he spent the extra time doing so, no need to make an additional appointment; And indeed the garage door didn't make any clanking noises as it opened and closed once the springs were changed. The repair process was very fast and efficient, Jose completed the work in less than 90mins. Thank you!

I was lied to by the person on the phone and told they could replace one garage door spring, when the technician showed up he said he could not just change one spring and he would have to replace both springs, the other spring on my door was new so why would I replace it, so I got charged a service fee for nothing

Our two garage doors (1 double and 1 single) were not working even though the motors in both were good. The single needed adjustments and a heavier spring while the double needed maintenance service and re-installation of the driver belt. Our technician was Jose Peara and he couldn't have been better. While others have serviced our doors and offered maintenance tips in the past, none where as complete as Jose. The service from the other company was fine but Jose was vastly superior. He was fast, gave complete explanations of what was needed, and, most importantly, he gave more tips and explanations for maintaining the doors. Others gave tips, but they sure missed some important tips when compared to Jose.

I search for local garage door vendors and Precision had the highest rating for customer service and warranty. I was not disappointed. The garage door motor stopped working but when it did it was loud and horrible sounding. Jose, quickly problem solved the main issues we were having and it was best to replace the motor put a new seal on the door and he even replaced a strut that was originally installed improperly. When he was done, within an hour, it opened beautifully, quietly. We are excited to have the smartphone option remote too! Hello, I would just like to give a big THANK YOU to Jose Perea for repairing my garage door. I'd called the office the night before and was given an appointment for that evening,unfortunately, the person never showed. The next morning I called again and was told someone would be out between 8 & 10am. Within half an hour I received a call from Jose advising he would be at my home within 45 minutes. Jose arrived sooner. The very first thing he did was apologize for the previous no show. He took one look at my door and showed me all that was wrong, even the spring which I had not seen initially. Jose explained the components of the door system and explained the longevity of each component. I purchased the Lifetime Warranty. Jose honored my $15 coupon in addition to not charging me a service call fee due to the aforementioned no show. When your garage door torsion springs break and your garage door weighs more than 400 pounds, guess what....you car is locked in your garage. That happened at 7:00 in the morning. After extensive review of all repair companies, Precision's website gave me the confidence to call them. By the afternoon the springs were replaced, cable replaced (they were frayed and another company probably would not have said anything), new rollers installed, etc. The tech. Jose Perea and his assistant Mike worked their magic, with smiles on their faces and personality. I would hire them away if I still had my business....(I retired) Best to you guys! Suddenly, my garage door wouldn't open, so I called at 10 am the next morning and someone came out in two hours. The repairman was pleasant and well-trained. He showed me the broken springs, told me the rollers were bad and the track needed lubrication. I was shown a list of charges for the repairs before he began. My door works and sound great now. Overall satisfied with the work. Jose, the service tech, arrived on time and was polite and professional. The overall cost was about $75 higher than what I was quoted over the phone. I called Precision to see if they could lower the cost a bit to match the phone estimate, but they did not lower the price. Expect to pay a minimum of $324 for a simple spring replacement. The service was completed in about 30 minutes. Jose greased and oiled the other moving parts on the garage opener and overall system. It sounds much quieter and runs smoother. Overall, a great job, just a bit more expensive than what I expected.

Service was good as it has been in the past as well. BUT, I called 3 times and left messages regarding my AAA discount (and or) my Angie's List discount through the customer service telephone line. Now what they did with my messages could not tell you. Even, our tech "Jose Perez" said he will have someone call us back. As a matter of fact, he claimed, he was going to have lunch with boss's, and let them know. This all started back on March 28th and here its April 8th. When someone says they will have someone call us back, they should mean it. First contact (I didn't get name) was cheerful and her smile easily made it across the phone line. She advised that a tech guy was in the area and she'd make room for me. I had just been told by another Precision door company who told me a three day wait was in the cards due to the severe wind storm we had here on 3/30. She was pleasant enough but really didn't sound like new business was important to her. The other Precision door number was already in my phone from a previous service I must have had. Needing immediate service prompted me to start calling from the internet listings I could find and I found you folks. Jose topped the service caLL off by being super face to face and actually careing for my problem and called to confirm the appointment made through your office.
