My wife and I have been loyal customers for 7yrs for a reason. Excellent product, honest and very professional employees. That goes a long way with us. Jose is the best!!! We wanted to upgrade to the new battery back-up garage door openers and bought 2.There are many companies to choose from but we're not going anywhere. My garage door technician Jose Perea arrived at my scheduled appointment time and date of 8/21/2020. He was awesome! I needed new cables for my main garage door because after 12 years, they were getting frayed and wornout. He was very fast and detailed on accomplishing the job expertly. I was referred by a previous client. My first contact over the phone was very friendly and professional. A representative was sent to my home the next day. Jose and Carlos (technicians) arrived early, diagnosed the problem and offered options. My decision was just to change out the remote. Very good customer service when I called in to schedule a service appt. Then on the date of the appt, the service repairman was on the job timely, called me, advised me of all the issues found with the opener, including to make sure I was aware of the age of the opener. He gave me a detailed repair list and cost of same, which was very reasonable. I use this same company for a house in Las Vegas and received the same great services.

I called Precision after a very disappointing experience with another company. They told me the gears had broken on my old garage door opener. I told him it was simply not working occasionally. He told me NO...it was broken. He told me I NEEDED to buy a new one. So, I tried the unit again and it worked. He looked shocked and made some excuse up. He then jacked up the retail on putting a new unit in for me...and then when I told him no...preceded to go down in price. By that time, I had enough of his "sales job". I called Precision...they immediately came out - I described the issue. They checked the opener and told me the circuit board was aged (almost 20 years!) but the gears were fine...but old. His professionalism gave me the confidence to decide to buy a brand new unit and have it installed asap! They were quick, friendly, and really knew their stuff! ALL WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACE! Our new belt drive Liftmaster is quiet, powerful, and works perfectly! Overall a tremendous experience from Precision and their talented and friendly staff. Your repairmen came this morning to repair my garage door with one broken spring. The door slammed shut when the spring broke and seemed locked. Your repairman simply lifted the door (about a two to five second job) and said the repair was over $600.00. I declined because that was too much to replace two garage door springs!! Jose said that there was a $148.95 service charge, thats $99.00 labor for the 2-5 second door lift and $49.95 fee to show up! Jose quoted repair costs which seemed excessive on top of the $148.95 service fee so you lost a customer!

My garage door service was excellent. The service technician appeared at my house on the very same morning that I phoned Precision Door Service to arrange for the broken spring on my garage door to be repaired. The technician (Jose Perea) was friendly, worked quickly, and answered my questions cheerfully. He also lubricated my door's hinges and the drive screw on the door opener without my asking. When repairs were done, he demonstrated that the new springs that he installed exerted the correct amount of lifting force, so that the door's weight was exactly counterbalanced by the springs. My wife and I were completely satisfied with Mr. Perea's repair job, which was done quickly and correctly.

The appointment was made quickly and easily. The repairman was punctual and friendly. He gave me an estimate of $179.00 if he had to replace the circuit board, or $779.00 to replace the entire garage door opener. I opted for the repair. He was done in less than 5 minutes only doing a minor adjustment. He still charged me the $179.00, a complete rip off! The repairman knew exactly what the problem was before he gave me the estimate and tried to make it more than it was. A company that treats customers like that has no place advertising that "it's a name you can trust". All I can say is that you can trust them to rip you off! I will never give them a recommendation and will certainly steer people away from them if their name is ever brought up.

I spoke with Mr. Manzanares regarding this issue and about the misunderstanding. We adjusted the track which was part of the issue with his door, adjusted the motor and did a lube and tune on the door. Mr. Manzanares explained that he is completely satisfied with the repair itself, his door is performing perfectly. His felt the time spent was short for the charge made. There was a misunderstanding on the initial quote, the $179 was not for a circuit board, that would have been substantially more. Nevertheless, I gave him a credit of $50 back on his credit card, which made more satisfactory to the customer.
