Gilbert showed up on time and made both garage door operate like new. Thank you for that! The only item I found a bit off is the large chunk of garage siding he took off so that the garage door trim wouldn't scape the siding. It would have looked better to just sand off the trim. I tried staining. But it still looks pretty bad. We talked about doing what he did but when we talked it was just a small area 1/2" by 4". The chunk he took out was 1" by 11".

Well done web site and good reviews attracted me. A waived $49.99 travel to my home fee with work performed made it even sweeter. $89-109 for an INSTALLED door cable. Acceptable. Installing a $5 brace ? I figured $150-$200 tops. Then I get the $358 bill. Blew my mind. Does my door work. Yes. Was the tech professional and courteous. Yes. Am I happy with the service. Yes. Am I happy with that bill. No.

Thank you Mr. Facio for your review. I am sorry that you are not happy with the final invoice. With many mechanical systems it is difficult to visually determine what is causing a malfunction. Our process is to totally inspect the garage door system so you know the condition of your system. Then we inform you of what it costs for variations of the repair, and have you decide how much of the repair you want done. Obviously you are happy with the proper functionality and safety of your door, which is most important. We use the best parts for our repairs, so even though you paid more than you expected, it is a great value. Thank you so much for being our customer.

My garage door service was excellent. The service technician appeared at my house on the very same morning that I phoned Precision Door Service to arrange for the broken spring on my garage door to be repaired. The technician (Jose Perea) was friendly, worked quickly, and answered my questions cheerfully. He also lubricated my door's hinges and the drive screw on the door opener without my asking. When repairs were done, he demonstrated that the new springs that he installed exerted the correct amount of lifting force, so that the door's weight was exactly counterbalanced by the springs. My wife and I were completely satisfied with Mr. Perea's repair job, which was done quickly and correctly.

A friend of mine in San Diego refereed us to your company. She had nothing but good things to say about the great experience with your company. We needed a garage door repair. It was a Saturday on a holiday weekend. The phone reception person was very courteous and gave me the first available appointment on Sunday. She called back a short time later and said there was a technician going to be in our area Saturday afternoon, would we be available between 2 pm to 6 pm. . So I accepted that appointment. The Service Technician was Derek O'Lear. He called at 2 pm and said he would be here in 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. He followed the CDC guidelines. He examined the door and explained what needed to be done. He replaced some hardware and serviced the motor. I commend your company on it's caliber of employees. The appointment was made quickly and easily. The repairman was punctual and friendly. He gave me an estimate of $179.00 if he had to replace the circuit board, or $779.00 to replace the entire garage door opener. I opted for the repair. He was done in less than 5 minutes only doing a minor adjustment. He still charged me the $179.00, a complete rip off! The repairman knew exactly what the problem was before he gave me the estimate and tried to make it more than it was. A company that treats customers like that has no place advertising that "it's a name you can trust". All I can say is that you can trust them to rip you off! I will never give them a recommendation and will certainly steer people away from them if their name is ever brought up.

I spoke with Mr. Manzanares regarding this issue and about the misunderstanding. We adjusted the track which was part of the issue with his door, adjusted the motor and did a lube and tune on the door. Mr. Manzanares explained that he is completely satisfied with the repair itself, his door is performing perfectly. His felt the time spent was short for the charge made. There was a misunderstanding on the initial quote, the $179 was not for a circuit board, that would have been substantially more. Nevertheless, I gave him a credit of $50 back on his credit card, which made more satisfactory to the customer.

Gilbert Garcia was the technician. He was skilled, personable, and answered all of our questions. He replaced the broken door springs and did maintenance that would help prevent future problems. We felt he had genuine concern for our welfare. He followed the COVID19 regulations and also did the repairs quickly. We felt safe. We feel the company was honest in their pricing. They notified us of every step of the repair and provided a detailed statement. We have confidence in Gilbert Garcia and will recommend Precision to our friends.

My second experience with Precision, the first was several years ago for Door Opener repair. 4-29 my garage door had a cable come unattached, which then skewed door badly, tearing rollers out of track, twisting track, such that door was jammed, up about 18" on one end. Called Precision late afternoon. Friendly, courteous, and helpful. Appointment scheduled. Derek called the next morning on his way and said he would be here shortly. Arrived right on time, "social-distancing" precautions evident, quickly assessed the problem, and told me door was salvageable, which was a great relief. He then explained options, including re-build, which I opted for....new rollers, cables, springs, lube and adjust all parts. He had it finished in less than 90 minutes....look and operates like new. Derek was a gentleman and obviously knows his stuff. I would highly recommend Precision and Derek....both exceeded my expectations. Thanks!!

Hello Don. Yes the garage doors are wonderful, The only problem, is the outside doors sealer around the doors. Shawn came by to evaluate. He is going to replace the top section. I'm not sure what you call it, but it seals the outside of garage doors. Hopefully it does the job to look good so the neighbors can admire as I would.
