On Wednesday morning,7.24.13, I called Precicion to have my garage door repaired. They set an appointment for between 4 and 6 that evening. At about 2:30 Jose called and asked if he could come at 3:30 as he was running ahead of schedule. I told him I could meet him about 3:45 and he said that would be fine. When I arrived home at 3:35 he was waiting for me. He looked at my door and explained exactly what the problem was and what he would recommend to fix it, which was new springs, cables, side bearings and a center bearing. He was able to make the the repairs, under difficult conditions (limited space and extreme heat) in about an 1 1/2 hrs. He was very courteous and professional. The door now works like new. I would highly recommend Precision and Jose to anyone who has a door problem.

My appointment was for 12pm to 2pm. Jose arrived right at 12 and identified the problem. He gave me options the available to me and I chose to purchase the new garage door opener. Although the price was higher than I hoped to pay, the quality of the product and the warranty led me to make the purchase. Jose installed the opener quickly and cleaned up after he was done. He explained how everything works and was very pleasant and professional during the process. The product works perfectly and is as quiet as Jose promised. Very happy with the experience.

I was going to just replace my broken springs, but after I mentioned that my wife was wondering why don't they have lifetime warranty on springs, Jose told me about the lifetime deal of $800, which came with new rollers. So, I decided to get it and not have to worry about paying for another repair.

Even though Josh was not the person originally scheduled for a repair quote, he arrived on time, he proved himself to be very efficient, was extremely courteous and very ready to answer my many questions. He gave me a tutorial/demonstration on garage door maintenance; the first I have ever received of that quality. I was so impressed with his knowledge that my husband and I had him replace the springs, cables, rollers, etc., on the spot. We now have a garage door that does not do gymnastics as it closes and is so much quieter. Found your web page using Google search on Internet and close the Menifee. Deeply appreciated Gary working us in on his already heavy Friday schedule. Gary professionally replaced our bent long door rod (my own definition, probably not the correct technical term), weakened lower grade springs that had been putting a strain on our opener motor, and rewound the cable that had come unwound from off the rotor when the door hit a cardboard tube blown into the path of the closing door. Lesson I learned the hard was, never place a cardboard tube adjacent to door tracks that could allow the wind to blow the tube into the path of the closing door. Door is now perfectly balanced, with a much lower load of our opener motor. Gary precisely adding just the right amount of torque to the springs, calculating the correct amount of turns he needed to add to the springs, using a known good math formula that takes into account the length of the cables, height of the door, and circumference of the cable rotors. Impressed when Gary also politely helped my neighbor that ran to ask for help, at no additional pay. So nice when a garage door professional turns out to be a really nice guy, and a fellow Marine Veteran, that also has served our country. :-)
