George, the technician, was very personable and efficient. My reason for the 3 stars is that a door servicing was offered for $89 and change. I agreed to this amount. When the work was completed, a service fee of about $49 was added on. I was not informed of this beforehand, and it was not mentioned in your apppintment confirmation. Therefore, I respectfully request that you refund this fee. I paid almost $100 for work! I feel I should not be also saddled with a service fee. I would appreciate your help with this matter. A friend of mine in San Diego refereed us to your company. She had nothing but good things to say about the great experience with your company. We needed a garage door repair. It was a Saturday on a holiday weekend. The phone reception person was very courteous and gave me the first available appointment on Sunday. She called back a short time later and said there was a technician going to be in our area Saturday afternoon, would we be available between 2 pm to 6 pm. . So I accepted that appointment. The Service Technician was Derek O'Lear. He called at 2 pm and said he would be here in 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. He followed the CDC guidelines. He examined the door and explained what needed to be done. He replaced some hardware and serviced the motor. I commend your company on it's caliber of employees. Please give Derek the praise he well deserves. I will recommend your company to any of my friends and family that need garage door services. Thank-you so much! Jose Perea was amazing. Came out the day I called for service. Diagnosed and repaired in one visit! He did such a great job I had him replace the 2nd garage door mechanisms as well as a preventative measure. Bravo Precision!

Rook (sp?) did a great job. Came out on a Sunday during the Coronavirus epidemic and made our garage door better than new. The day before, a rake got jammed in the side of the garage door when it was being lowered. The top center of the door caved in. He replaced the top strut, opener connecting piece, springs, and readjusted the door.

My header bracket on my garage door was never installed correctly by overhead Door of the L.A Basin. It was a sloppy install into the drywall only. Jose Perea from precision door service was here on time fixed the problem so it won’t happen again.

I have an old garage door (one piece, not panels) and a spring had broken. I told them this when I called to make the appointment. The rep, who was on time and very friendly by the way, told me that the garage door is old and outdated and that springs are not readily available. He recommended replacing the door for $699 I believe, and when I said that is not in the budget, he immediately called and lowered the price to $649. That was a red flag for sure. I decided to check other companies, and found a local company who was here within an hours time with two springs- only one had broken, but they are old, so better to replace both. He was able to buy the springs locally and install. Total cost $169 including labor and parts. I am a realtor and constantly get requests for good service providers. I would never recommend this company.

Mr. Heyl, I am sorry that we did not meet your needs. Your door is a one piece door and requires a different spring. I apologize for my technician saying they are not available, because they are.. So, he made a mistake on that and we have already counseled him on it.. The $699 was obviously for a new door which was not absolutely necessary. However, I am happy that you were taken care of (it seems by a handyman), as our price would have higher that what you stated you paid. I apologize for your experience with us.
