George, the technician, was very personable and efficient. My reason for the 3 stars is that a door servicing was offered for $89 and change. I agreed to this amount. When the work was completed, a service fee of about $49 was added on. I was not informed of this beforehand, and it was not mentioned in your apppintment confirmation. Therefore, I respectfully request that you refund this fee. I paid almost $100 for work! I feel I should not be also saddled with a service fee. I would appreciate your help with this matter. A friend of mine in San Diego refereed us to your company. She had nothing but good things to say about the great experience with your company. We needed a garage door repair. It was a Saturday on a holiday weekend. The phone reception person was very courteous and gave me the first available appointment on Sunday. She called back a short time later and said there was a technician going to be in our area Saturday afternoon, would we be available between 2 pm to 6 pm. . So I accepted that appointment. The Service Technician was Derek O'Lear. He called at 2 pm and said he would be here in 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. He followed the CDC guidelines. He examined the door and explained what needed to be done. He replaced some hardware and serviced the motor. I commend your company on it's caliber of employees. Please give Derek the praise he well deserves. I will recommend your company to any of my friends and family that need garage door services. Thank-you so much! Rook (sp?) did a great job. Came out on a Sunday during the Coronavirus epidemic and made our garage door better than new. The day before, a rake got jammed in the side of the garage door when it was being lowered. The top center of the door caved in. He replaced the top strut, opener connecting piece, springs, and readjusted the door.
