We had used Precision about 5 years ago for garage door maintenance. This time we didn't have an emergency repair, but just needed a tune-up on our door and were looking to purchase a new opener. Called at 8:00 AM Saturday morning, and they got us a technician before noon the same day! Jorge Fortanel was courteous, professional, and explained everything to our satisfaction. The opener installation and maintenance on the door exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Precision!

About 11 p.m. Sunday night I discovered that my 20 year old garage door opening system failed. By the next day, Monday at 2:30 p.m. I had a brand new system completely installed and functioning perfectly. I had expected that I would have to raise and close the garage door manually for at least a week before I could successfully get an appointment and have the work done. Carlos Barragan is the hero of this story. He was skilled, efficient and thorough in his workmanship, he explained and demonstrated how the system works and answered my questions, he left no trash behind, and he was friendly. At the end of a potentially depressing event my heart was singing the praises of Precision and Carlos Barragan!

Our garage door spring broke on Thanksgiving evening. I called four garage door service companies the next morning. One was closed. Another had no one available until the following week due to the holiday. The third company had an open appointment time but explained they did not have the correct spring in their inventory due to the supply chain shortage. Finally, I called Precision and the friendly operator said they had the spring and someone could be out to do the repair by 2 PM that day. The technician, Alan, arrived at our home more than two hours early, having called ahead of time to notify us of his changed arrival time. Because I was at work, my wife was present for the repair. She told me Alan was very courteous and friendly. He explained the necessary repairs and completed them in a timely and efficient manner. The price of the spring replacement was in line with the other three companies' quotes. We were very pleased and relieved to have the repair done so quickly and professionally by Precision.

i have 2 homes in 2 different cities, i was so happy and pleased with the service at one of my homes, so when the garage needed to be looked at my other house i called precision again, my tech jose was fantastic, very nice, kind, sweet and very personable. I thought i need a brand new door, but after jose looked at it, he said all i needed was new parts. Everything that needed to be replaced he replaced, he did an excellent, fantastic and great job. I also appreciated his honesty by telling me that i did not a new garage door and all it was, was parts that needed to be replaced. He saved me a lot of money and i greatly appreciated that a lot, thank you to jose who worked out of riverside calif, he was fantastic and thank you to precision customer service as well for getting an appointment set up with jose, and again thank you to jose, he was absolutely fantastic, defiently deserves a very nice size raise, i greatly appreciated his hard work and dedication to his work. Also there were several parts that jose replaced and everything is in exceptional working order. I would defiently recommend precision garage door service, i am very happy with them and will continue to use them in the future.

You guys were great. I called 6:30pm on Thursday night ,they answered and worked around my schedule and Jorge was on time and early as I requested, I needed a new unit and Jorge gave me options. I heard about Precision Door Service from friends over the years. I was meaning to have my door serviced every 2 years but forgot and let it go. I was very happy that Jorge and his partner were the one's sent to my home as they explained all to me and I understood a little but knew I had a major problem. I stayed in my home the whole time excepts a few times they did knock on the laundry room door to advice of a few things. When they were finished I came out to the garage I paid them and they left. I set up 2 appts to get estimates to fix the garage door. 1st guy that came did a quick assessment then began to give me my options. Replacing springs, rollers, tracks, adjusting cables.... costs ranged from $700 - $3100 depending on how much he replaced and the quality of the materials I selected. ie: galvanized springs vs springs from China. And if I wanted him to do the repairs that day I had to make a decision immediately because he couldn’t guarantee when he could return to do the repairs. Shocked and overwhelmed by all the options and costs, thankfully I let him leave and waited to see what the 2nd estimate would be. What a difference!!! Gilbert Garcia from Precision arrived a few minutes later. He took a look at the situation and determined that he could repair it for less than $400. He was able to remove the existing track, straightened out the slight bend and reinstall it. He said my springs were fine and are actually a better quality the two options the other guy offered. The rollers were fine and didn’t need replacing. He said the cause of the problem was 2 bolts that were too short and over several years had come loose. He replaced them with longer bolts. He tuned, lubed and calibrated. He checked the motor. He made sure everything was in proper working order. Obviously the first guy got $$$$ in his eyes when he realized here is a middle aged woman who clearly knows nothing about garage door repair and he may be able to get hundreds if not several thousand dollars out of her for what I suspect would be inferior materials and workmanship. I will definitely recommend Precision and in particular Gilbert Garcia who I found to be refreshingly honest and ethical and absolutely competent at what he does. Thank you Gilbert
